I attended the Home show at Earls Court over the past few days. I had a large amount of interested in both my industrial and my brass lights from fantastic shops, architects and designers so fingers crossed...it's going to be a busy few weeks! Keep an eye out for my brass collection on my site soon.
I have just made two suspended brass chandeliers for architect Atelier Chang. One is 2.4 meters long, the other a metre long. I think they look very contemporary and stylish, all the material is made, turned and pressed in the UK.
These particular lights were made for an office in London, to be fitted soon (more pictures to follow in the next month).
l will be making more brass products in the future, watch this space.....
Had a fun but very busy week at Design Junction for the London Design Festival. My first trade show and have never been so stressed in my life but it was worth it! Great feedback about the lights and bulbs.
I am entering a design into The International Design awards, brave I know! Below is my piece de resistance.....The Octopus Dining Table! These photos were taken at Eat17 in Walthamstow Village, definitely worth a meal and a beer! Thanks guys!
I have started stocking all different types of the vintage style lightbulbs as you can see from my Vintage Lightbulbs page. These lightbulbs are everywhere at the moment; shops, bars, restaurants even homes. They make any scene come to life!
I sold this large tap light on the Rokett St George website: http://www.rockettstgeorge.co.uk/floor-lights-343-c.asp as you can see it would look perfect in any room.
I'm now a member of the SBID, (Society of British Interior Designers) hopefully this leads to bigger and better things! I will also be showcasing my lights and light bulbs at London Design Festival in September, very excited!
Homegirl London featured me in their blog, check it out here: http://homegirllondon.com/finds-industrial-paperclip-light/
My lights are still regularly featuring in the BB house, here's a little snap shot of them during a task.
Been a busy week!
My new purchase are these cages to make my lights even more industrial!
This is the one I sold one over my weekend break in the Cotswolds.
I will be selling the cages on here soon (or contact me if you can't wait)!
My Wall Lights, Paperclip and Tap Lights are now featuring in the Big Brother house, which launched on Thursday! Spot my lights, how many in this picture? You could win a gold star ;-) You'll have to watch the show to see them all!
As well as my industrial lights I also have my 'Colour My Light' service which gives you a wide range of fantastic colours so you can jazz your light up any way you choose from plain to spots to luminous!
A part from this, I have my Twitter and my Facebook page that will keep you updated with my goings on during my TV debut, well not mine but kind of! If you have any questions or any ideas for lights then please contact me.
